Chantelle Wardini APD AEP ESSAM – Accredited Practising Dietitian and Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Director

Chantelle is truly committed to health and nutrition from both a professional and personal perspective, taking an active interest in healthy cooking and regular physical activity.  At Bites, she provides her clients with caring and individualised nutritional and exercise advice to help them best achieve their health goals.

Her interest areas lie in metabolic health (including diabetes), cardiovascular disease (including hypertension, high cholesterol), sustainable weight loss and sports nutrition. She is also proficient in managing gastrointestinal issues such as IBS, crohn’s, coeliac disease and food intolerances/food allergies. She loves figuring out ways to help you manage your health more simply and practically. Chantelle works closely with your GP and often Chantelle’s clients are able to reduce diabetic or blood pressure medications that they have been taking for years through developing tailored food and exercise plans.

Chantelle graduated from Sydney University and holds a degree in Exercise and Sport Science as well as a first class honours degree in Nutrition.  She is an accredited member of the Dietitian’s Association of Australia as well as Exercise and Sport Science Australia.  She is also recognised as an accredited Anthropometrist by the International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry which allows her to proficiently measure and assess your skin folds and other body composition data.

She has worked professionally with numerous hospitals such as Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Westmead Hospital, Liverpool Hospital, The Hills Private Hospital and Lady Davidson Private Hospital. Chantelle is also a registered Medicare and Department of Veteran’s affairs provider and actively cares for patients under team management plans.

Outside of work, Chantelle enjoys pole fitness, playing soccer, volleyball, going to the beach and taking her dogs Louis and Preston to the dog park. Chantelle understands that life is dynamic, demanding and different for everyone and as such offers diet and exercise solutions that can be easily adjusted to fit your lifestyle.

Eden Barrett APD – Accredited Practising Dietitian

Eden combines her wealth of knowledge regarding nutrition and her caring and gentle nature to help clients achieve better health at Bites Health Clinic. Throughout Eden’s degree she attained the Dean’s Merit award 3 years running (awarded to the top 5% of Students) and was awarded the Australian Post Graduate Award in 2017 from the University of Wollongong.  Eden has worked in Sydney hospitals such as Liverpool Hospital and Ryde Royal Rehabilitation Hospital. She’s also gained experience with organisations such as the Australian Red Cross, Meals on wheels and the Illawarra Cancer Council. Eden’s employment also includes work in the retail sector namely at Healthy Life from which she brings a wealth of product knowledge regarding nutritional supplements and health and lifestyle products. Eden gains a lot of satisfaction from connecting with clients and inspiring them to meet their goals to achieve optimal health and wellbeing.

Eden’s main interest areas are: Renal/chronic kidney disease, diabetes, sustainable weight loss and general healthy living.

Victoria Silvestro APD – Accredited Practising Dietitian

Victoria’s kind and caring nature is evident from the first moment you meet her! Nothing gives her greater satisfaction than helping her patients achieve their nutritional goals and witnessing the positive effects it has on their overall wellbeing. Victoria comes from a family that has made tremendous lifestyle changes themselves which Victoria witnessed as she grew up. The benefits that she saw in her personal life inspired her to study further to share this positive change with your families too. Victoria has since graduated from the University of Wollongong, with her Thesis research poster being presented at the 2017 Dietitians Association Australia Conference.

At Bites Health Clinic, Victoria brings her caring nature to understand the lives of each client, recognizing that no two-clients are alike. Victoria is then able to provide individualized nutritional advice that can be best suited to their lifestyle and help to improve their health and wellbeing.

Victoria’s professional knowledge and skills have been strengthened through her work and experience at Mater Private Hospital, Liverpool Hospital and St George Hospital. Victoria has also been a Dietitian for Vivir Heathways, providing in-house consultations to nursing and aged care homes across Sydney. Victoria also enjoys presenting nutritional information to the community. She has presented on behalf of Cancer Council Australia, as a facilitator for the “Eat It to Beat It” program and “Fruit and Veg Sense” workshop. Victoria also presents on behalf of South Western Sydney Local Health District, as a dietetic facilitator for the “Stepping On” falls prevention program.

Victoria’s main interest areas are: sustainable weight loss, cardiovascular disease including hypertension (high blood pressure) and high cholesterol, diabetes, nutrition for older people, oncology and general healthy living with a focus on whole family integration.

Bronwen Greenfield APD – Accredited Practising Dietitian

Bronwen’s lifelong interest in health and fitness are what drove her to pursue a career in nutrition as she loves to help others achieve the healthiest version of themselves. At Bites, she exhibits her caring and understanding nature to provide her clients with realistic and achievable advice. With a love of all things food, Bronwen enjoys cooking and creating new and innovative recipes, allowing her to work together with her clients to come up with easy healthy recipes to help them achieve their goals with a refreshing touch.

Bronwen has been able to build her skills as a Dietitian through a variety of positions including St George Hospital, Campbelltown Hospital, The Australian Red Cross and the St George Mental Health Unit. From these varied experiences, she understands the complexity and diverse nature of each client and recognises that everyone’s needs are different. Since then she has been the contracted Dietitian for a variety of Aged Care Facilities over NSW and worked together with fellow Dietitians to conduct healthy eating talks and demonstrations within Sydney.

Growing up with a sporting background, Bronwen was actively involved in a range of competitive sports including National athletics, cross-country, swimming, soccer and basketball. As such, Bronwen has developed a keen interest in sports nutrition, having worked closely together with the St George Dragons NRL team  last year to create various meal plans for players.

Bronwen’s main interest areas include: Sports nutrition, Metabolic health, Coeliac Disease, Food allergies/intolerances, Gastrointestinal surgery, Renal/kidney diseases, Diabetes, Cardiovascular health, sustainable weight loss, weight gain, weight maintenance and general healthy eating plans.

Stephanie Tang APD – Accredited Practising Dietitian

Stephanie inspires clients with her enthusiastic and bright attitude to life. She has gained experience in Hospitals such as Nepean and Blue Mountains Hospital. She also has experience working with children through the Healthy Kids Go4Fun organisation. Stephanie’s approach to nutrition is very practical and reasonable.  She understands that simple changes make all the difference. Stephanie’s main interest areas include weight loss, chronic disease management and paediatrics.

Tegan Hayes APD – Accredited Practising Dietitian

Tegan has always been interested in human health and nutrition. These interests combined with her kind and caring nature and her desire to help people is what led her to pursue a career in dietetics. Having completed her Master of Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Sydney, she has gained a deep understanding of the ways in which food can not only fuel our bodies to maintain good health, but also prevent and treat disease and illness. Tegan will be presenting her university research project at the 2018 Dietitians Association Australia Conference.
An advocate for nutrition as a core component of healthcare, she hopes to use the knowledge and skills she has gained through her studies and experience to provide practical and tailored advice to help you achieve your health goals. She has had experience in both metropolitan and rural areas at Mona Vale and Orange hospitals, as well as in community mental health in Bondi Junction. The diversity of people and the variety of challenges they face in each setting has exemplified the importance and value of personalising her approach to meet each individual’s needs, supporting them on their journey to live their healthiest life.
Tegan’s main interest areas are: cardiovascular health, sustainable weight loss, gastrointestinal surgery, oncology and mental health.

Chloe Bauer APD – Accredited Practising Dietitian

Chloe has a very down- to- earth, caring and friendly personality and she uses this to help patients feel supported and motivated to achieve their personal goals.

She has assisted multiple family members through cancer and the long journey they faced with treatment and she saw how nutrition both became something that they struggled with but also it was clear that having good nutrition helped with their treatment.  Chloe can now understand and appreciate that every individual is different, and so she can provide every client an individualised nutrition advice. She is a strong believer in every person, no matter their culture, belief or background and their deservingness to receive high quality, individualised care.

Chloe has been able to increase her professional skills through university placements at and rural locations and through her volunteer positions at Diabetes Australia, kidney Australia, Science week and at Disabled Wintersports Australia as an adaptive snowboard instructor. Chloe has also presented her research on nutrition related side effects of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in adolescents during and post treatment at the Australian New Zealand Children Oncology and Heamatology Conference last year and will be presenting this year again at the DAA 2018 ‘Think Big’ conference. Chloe is also fluent in French.

In her spare time, she enjoys jumping out of a perfectly good plan, snowboarding, cycling, running and of course coming from Melbourne, finding that ‘perfect’ cup of coffee and eating delicious and tasty food.

Chloe’s interests are oncology, nutrition for older people, paediatrics, weight loss and chronic disease management.
